How we keep the information accurate

  • Every formula, threshold and limitation is published on our methodology page, with a dated changelog of every change.
  • Brand sizes are only shown after we check them against the brand’s own published size chart, and every check is dated. Until then, brand pages say “Sizing data pending verification”.
  • Where we mention research, we cite the published paper and describe its findings no more strongly than the paper does.
  • We tell you how confident the calculator is, including when it isn’t. Our accuracy page explains what any tape measurement can and can’t tell you.
  • Spotted a mistake? Tell us, ideally with a link to the source.

Hi, I’m Sophie Dixon, the creator of UK Bra Size Calculator. I built this tool because I was tired of seeing women guess their bra size from outdated charts that rarely fit right. I researched UK bra fitting standards and measurement methods in depth so I could offer both the modern and traditional sizing approaches side by side – giving you an honest comparison instead of a single guess. Everything runs privately in your browser, and I’m always refining the calculator to make it more accurate.

Private by design

Your size is calculated in your browser. There are no accounts and no database of users, and your measurements are never sent to us. The privacy page explains exactly what the AI tools, analytics and share links do and don’t send.

How the site is funded

The calculator and every tool are free. In future, some links to retailers may be affiliate links, which means the site may earn a commission if you buy something. That never changes your calculated size, the brand translations, or which sizes and styles we suggest.
